Toyota Key Fob CR1632
CR1632 is 16 mm by 3.2 mm and is reported on some Prius shells. Sources disagree. The stamp on the old cell wins.
Battery sizes is the shelf for the coin itself. A Toyota smart key from the 2010s onward usually takes a CR2032, 20 mm across and 3.2 mm thick. Many older remote-head and flip keys take a CR2016, the same width and only 1.6 mm thick. CR2025 is the 2.5 mm cell of that same 20 mm width, seen on some older compact remotes. CR1632 and CR1616 are smaller in diameter and uncommon. All of these are 3-volt lithium cells, and none of them swap places. CR2450, A23, and LIR2032 do not belong in the fob. The stamp on the old cell wins when a chart and the metal disagree. This category does not rank brands. Panasonic, Murata, Energizer, and Duracell appear only as examples of ordinary 3-volt cells, not as a paid order. One cell is the normal count in the fob.
