About

Key Fob Desk is an organization, not a person and not Toyota. The pages explain the coin cell in a Toyota key fob, how that shell usually opens, and the faults that still look like a dead cell after a swap.

The work stops at the battery. A battery-only swap does not require programming. A never-paired extra fob is a dealer or licensed locksmith job. This site does not cut keys, clone fobs, or bypass an immobilizer.

Drivers worldwide can use the same English pages. Grade names stay with the market that prints them. A US LE is not pasted onto a Japanese or Australian brochure.

The stamp on the old cell wins when it disagrees with a chart. That rule is the whole editorial policy, stated again on its own page.
